Do you treat pets other than cats or dogs?
Yes. In addition to cats and dogs, we care for small cage pets of all kinds, reptiles, and birds.
Can I request a certain doctor?
Yes. When you call for an appointment, we will let you know when the doctor you are requesting is available. There will be times when certain doctors are in surgery or caring for hospitalized cases and be unavailable. We hope you will be able to meet all our doctors at some point and be comfortable seeing any of them.
What is your vaccine protocol?
We follow the American Animal Hospital Association guidelines for dogs and the Association of Feline Practitioners guidelines for cats. Our general philosophy is to vaccinate less frequently and more selectively in accordance with newer ideas in preventative health care.
What do I do if my pet has a medical emergency?
If during our regular business hours, call to let us help you assess the situation and we will get you right in. if after hours, call either the Emergency Animal Hospital Northwest Austin on Highway 183 or the Animal Emergency Clinic Central Texas in Round Rock on Interstate 35 . Dr. Campbell can also usually be reached on his cell phone after hours if you have a medical concern or problem you need to discuss.
What forms of payment do you accept and do you have payment plans?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, & checks. In general, payment is due at the time of services. We do make payment arrangements for emergency or non-elective procedures. Any questions about fees should be addressed before any procedure is performed. Estimates can be prepared and printed for you on request.
