| August 20 - After a full week of seeing patients, we finally get a sign up that people can see we are now open. A more permanent sign is coming soon. Look for our grand opening / open house sometime in the next several weeks. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thanks for watching us grow! |

| August 16 - Fencing for our large play area out back starts going up. Just in time for our first boarding dog this weekend. |

| August 14 - Major construction is now completed! While it will take several months to get our hospital fully set up and running smoothly, we are now open and able to care for patients. Surgical and dental care areas are not up and running as yet, but should be ready soon. Although we are still getting things set up and organized, feel free to stop by and tour our facility anytime during regular office hours. |

| August 13 - Construction is wrapping up, city inspections are passed and we can finally start moving in! |

| July 27 - Front landscaping work continues as rock retaining walls goes up around trees in front, trees are trimmed, and sprinkler system, soil and gravel paths are laid down. |

| April 28 - Uh oh....the fire marshal pays us a visit and stops all interior work on the building until the parking lot is finished. This will slow things down a bit, but there are plenty of outside things to do to keep us busy. |

| April 24 - Insulation is in place and sheet rock is delivered. Concrete floor is stained and covered to protect from damage while the rest of the interior work is done. |

| December 2005 - Finally! Thanks to the help of Tom & Kathy at Frost Bank, Jennie Braasch at Pohl, Brown, Wayne at Barnes Construction, architect Patrick Roeder, Tim at Corridor Engineering, and Denise at Mercury Permits, all requirements have been met and we can begin clearing the lot. Note the power lines in front of the property that have been put in along with underground utilities. |

| February 2004 - Initial contract is signed to purchase the property. The next six months is spent on feasibility studies involving financing, zoning, road access, and preliminary city approvals. Final purchase of the property is in September 2004 and we are able to put up the sign seen above. It takes another 16 months for finalizing construction loans and architectural and structural plans, getting city and state site plans drawn up and approved, and waiting for final Cedar Park city permits to be granted. We are finally ready to start work on the lot in late December. |
